Community members affected by or interested in Parkinson’s disease are invited to a free educational workshop on Thursday, October 30, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, located at 112 S Main Street, Boerne, TX.

This workshop will provide valuable insights into Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, including symptoms, diagnosis, and available medical and non-medical treatments. Attendees will also explore how exercise, nutrition, sleep, and therapies such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy play a role in disease management and quality of life.

Expert speakers include Dr. Bower, MD, from Neurology of Boerne, and therapists Kristi Pelletier (SLP), Sarah Reeh (DPT), and Jennica Colvin (OTD, CSRS) from Trio Rehabilitation. A complimentary lunch will be served.
