Part 1: Valuing Your Land introduces the fundamentals of land stewardship as part of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department’s Landowner Workshop Series. The workshop will take place on March 28 from 8:30 am to 2 pm at the Cibolo Nature Center.

This first session focuses on understanding land ethics, defining management goals, and learning baseline inventory techniques that help landowners better assess and care for their property. Designed for landowners of any acreage, the series provides practical knowledge on wildlife and habitat management while encouraging long-term conservation efforts.

Participants will engage with presentations from Texas Parks & Wildlife biologists and take part in a guided field tour to explore real-world applications. Throughout the three-part series, attendees will use an interactive workbook to develop a personalized wildlife management plan for their land.
