Rock Readers at Patrick Heath Public Library

Young explorers are invited to dig into the fascinating world of geology and paleontology during Rock Readers on Friday, July 10, at 10:30 am at Patrick Heath Public Library.
This hands-on program introduces children to the wonders of rocks, minerals, and fossils through engaging activities and up-close exploration of unique specimens. Participants will discover interesting facts about the natural world while learning how rocks and fossils help tell the story of Earth’s past.
Perfect for children who enjoy science, nature, and prehistoric discoveries, the program offers an interactive and educational experience designed to spark curiosity and encourage learning.
Rock Readers is recommended for ages 5 and older. Participation is limited to the first 30 children. Admission tickets are required and may be picked up at the Youth Services Desk before the program begins.
