Explore the natural beauty and geology of the Texas Hill Country during the Scenic Overlook Nature Hike on Thursday, June 18, from 9 am to 10 am at Guadalupe River State Park. Led by a Texas Master Naturalist, the guided walk will highlight local geological features, native plants and wildlife, and the importance of water in the region’s ecosystem.

The easy hike covers less than three-quarters of a mile and follows a mostly level trail with some rocky areas, making it suitable for all ages. Friendly dogs on leashes are also welcome to participate.

Participants should meet outside the Discovery Center and are encouraged to bring sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection. Registration is not required for the program.
