Readers and families are invited to a special Second Saturday Author Signing on March 14 from 11 am to 1 pm at Patrick Heath Public Library in Boerne, TX. Authors Sally Smith and Mary Jane Torres-Lewis will be on hand to share and sign copies of their book, “The Three Little Marranitos: A Torres Family Sweet Adventure.”

The story follows the Torres family on a rainy afternoon as Abuelo prepares a batch of his favorite pan dulce for the twins and their primos. As they help gather ingredients like piloncillo and other baking essentials, Abuelo begins telling a story passed down from his own abuela about events that happened long ago in Mexico.
