Community members are invited to lend a hand and learn about native gardening during Second Saturday Volunteering on Saturday, July 11, from 9 am to 12 pm at The Cibolo Nature Center, located at 140 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006.

Volunteers will help maintain the Nature Center’s gardens through a variety of hands-on activities, including weeding, watering, using garden tools, and caring for native plants. The program offers an opportunity to learn about organic gardening practices while contributing to the beauty and health of the gardens.

No prior gardening experience is required. Participants will receive guidance and instruction throughout the morning, making the event suitable for both first-time volunteers and experienced gardeners.

In addition to supporting the Nature Center, volunteers can earn community service hours while enjoying time outdoors in a beautiful natural setting.
