A creative watercolor workshop takes place during Seeds of Friendship with Deborah on March 28 from 10 am to 12 pm at The Downtown DIY in Boerne, TX. Led by artist Deborah Fitzhugh, the class offers a beginner-friendly introduction to watercolor while creating a meaningful handmade project.

The session begins with Watercolors 101, where participants will learn about watercolor paper, brushes, paints, and foundational techniques. After practicing these basics, guests will paint a field of Black-Eyed Susans on a handmade seed packet and decorate a matching envelope with floral details.

Participants will then fill their seed packet with seeds, add a seal featuring a pressed flower, and create a hand-painted gift ready to share with a friend or send by mail. All paints, brushes, and materials are provided, though guests are welcome to bring their own watercolor supplies if preferred.
