Celebrate Derby Day in style at the Shared Beat Annual Crawfish & Music Event on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm at Random Beer Garden. Guests can enjoy a festive afternoon with horse racing excitement, a delicious crawfish boil by Firehouse Fare, Derby-inspired appetizers, homemade beer bread, Derby beans and slaw, sweet Derby pie, and craft beer and wine. A hat decorating table will be available for those who want to create their own fancy Derby look, with hats available for purchase onsite.

The party continues with live music from powerhouse band Velvet, performing from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm with an eclectic setlist covering R&B, disco, rock, pop, country, and Latin hits. Tickets must be purchased in advance at this link; no tickets will be sold at the door. Proceeds support Shared Beat’s Student Wellness and Health Career Scholarship Programs.
