Volunteers are invited to participate in a monthly bird survey at Cibolo’s Sisterdale Sanctuary to help monitor and appreciate the diverse birdlife in this unique habitat.

The survey takes place on the second Monday of each month from 8 am to 11:30 am, with an earlier start time of 7 am during the summer months. The location is 1250 FM 473, Sisterdale, TX. Please note that there are no restroom facilities or potable water on-site, and parts of the survey route include steep and uneven terrain.

Participants should bring binoculars, wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and bring water, a hat, and sun protection.
