Spring Break Honey Creek Guided Walk at Guadalupe River State Park

Visitors can explore one of Texas’ last pristine waterways during the Spring Break Honey Creek Guided Walk on March 11 and March 18 from 9 am to 11:30 am at Guadalupe River State Park, 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070. Sponsored by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area, the program features certified guides who lead an interpretive walk through the area’s unique natural landscape.

The guided hike travels approximately two miles and is considered moderately difficult, with mostly flat terrain along with some rocky areas, slopes, and two short but steep hills. The program is recommended for ages 7 and older. Dogs are not permitted, except for service animals. Participants will meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park and are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and bring water and sun protection.

Admission is free with park entry. Park admission is $7 for adults, and children 12 and under enter free. Registration is required and may be completed at https://fs18.formsite.com/TPWD/9bion8qse3/index. If ADA assistance is needed, requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance by emailing accessibility@tpwd.texas.gov.
