Get a head start on Halloween with a creative SummerWEEN workshop at The Downtown DIY on Monday, August 31, from 6 to 8 pm.

Participants can choose one of three featured projects to complete during the workshop: a Button Ghost Canvas Set featuring two decorated 4-by-6-inch ghost canvases; a Witch Hat & Tassel Garland made with miniature witch hats, handmade tassels, ribbons, and natural twine; or a Whimsical Witch Shoe decorated with paint, glitter, ribbons, trims, embellishments, and Halloween accents.

With a variety of paints, ribbons, embellishments, and decorative accents available, each project can be customized to match a personal Halloween style. Studio Assistants will be available to provide guidance and creative tips throughout the workshop.

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters, and participants will leave with a handmade Halloween decoration to enjoy for years to come.
