Gardeners and food lovers alike can dig into the wonders of sweet potatoes during a hands-on Sweet Potato Workshop hosted by the Cibolo Center for Conservation on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Herff Farm.

Led by Cibolo Farm Manager Emily Nickerson, this workshop will explore the delicious versatility and ease of propagating sweet potatoes. Participants will learn everything needed to grow sweet potatoes successfully at home—from propagation techniques to garden care tips.

Attendees will also receive three different varieties of sweet potato slips to take home and enjoy a sampling of sweet potato treats during the class.
