Families with young children can experience nature-based learning through Taste of the Nest, a special program designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Each session offers opportunities for little ones and their families to explore, play, learn through hands-on activities, and connect with other families while experiencing The Nest’s educational approach.

Sessions take place Wednesdays and Thursdays from September 23 through October 15, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at The Nest Nature School, 33 Herff Road, Boerne, TX 78006. Families will meet under the oak trees by the Inspiration Garden. Admission is $35 per child per session.

The fall series includes Welcome, Fall! on September 23 and 24, Happy Harvesting on September 30 and October 1, Exploring Fall All Around on October 7 and 8, and Critters in the Fall on October 14 and 15. Activities may involve water, mud, paint, and other messy materials as children explore seasonal themes through sensory and nature-based play.
