A beloved holiday tradition returns to The Downtown DIY with the 3rd Annual Gingerbread House Workshop on Saturday, December 12, from 2 to 4 pm. Instead of frosting and candy, participants will create a festive keepsake designed to be enjoyed for many Christmases to come.

Each guest will receive a wooden gingerbread house to paint and personalize with an extensive selection of holiday embellishments, including festive trims, faux candies, ribbons, greenery, glitter, wood accents, bottle brush trees, and other seasonal treasures. Designs can range from classic candy cottages and vintage Christmas styles to whimsical peppermint themes, rustic farmhouse looks, or elaborate sparkle.

Every finished house will have its own unique character, making this workshop a creative way to add a personal touch to holiday décor. The workshop has sold out in previous years, so early registration is recommended.
