An evening of poetry and creative connection takes place during The Poet & The Pour on Thursday, April 9 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at The Boerne Bookshop, 153 S Main St., Ste 120, Boerne, TX 78006.

Held in celebration of National Poetry Month, this relaxed gathering features guest poet D. Ellis Phelps along with an open mic session where attendees can share their own work, read a favorite poem, or simply enjoy listening.

Hosted by the Hill Country Poets in partnership with the Hill Country Council for the Arts, the event offers a welcoming and low-pressure environment centered on creativity and community.
