Creativity and prehistoric discovery come together during Veloci-Crafters on Thursday, July 16, at 3 pm at Patrick Heath Public Library, located at 451 N. Main St., Boerne, TX 78006.

Children and their grown-ups will create their own amber-inspired fossilized bug soap while learning about the ancient insects that were preserved in amber millions of years ago. This hands-on activity blends art, creativity, and a touch of science, giving participants a unique keepsake to take home.

The program is recommended for children ages 5 and older. Participation is limited to the first 50 children who arrive. Admission tickets will be available at the Youth Services Desk before the program begins.
