Cibolo Nature Center’s community scientists will spend the week surveying and examining local plants and wildlife as part of Wildlife Field Research. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate and contribute to these hands-on research efforts.

Wildlife Field Research takes place Sunday, September 27, through Saturday, October 3, 2026, throughout the day at Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006.

For the safety of the research activities and to avoid disturbing scientists in the field, trails will be closed throughout the week. Visitors may also be asked to leave the property during surveys.
