Boerne City Hall serves as the administrative heart of the city, housing key municipal offices and providing a hub for civic engagement. Construction of the new City Hall began after a groundbreaking ceremony on May 10, 2018, following extensive planning and financing. The project was supported by a $22 million pledge from Frost Bank, obtained through the issuance of Tax Notes at a favorable interest rate. A City Hall Advisory Committee, appointed in June 2017, guided the project to ensure it met community needs and budget constraints.
The City Hall hosts various events, such as city council meetings twice a month, voting, and even some events put on by Boerne Parks and Rec.
The old city hall on Blanco Road sold to a hotel developer back in the summer of 2023. No word on what the current plans are, as it’s been sitting dormant for a while.
