Over the last few months, several highly anticipated businesses have already opened their doors. But there’s still a long list of restaurants, wineries, shops, lounges, and major developments currently under construction or preparing to launch across town.
Here’s the latest on what’s coming soon to Boerne.
1. Honda of Boerne

Carmella’s Pizza Parlor says it is finally entering the home stretch after months of delays tied to a major electrical infrastructure upgrade affecting the entire building. Contractors are expected to begin work immediately, with the restaurant hoping to move into final inspections and soft openings by June.
The concept comes from the team behind 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen and will feature hand-tossed New York-style pizzas, Detroit-style pies, house-made classics, a beer and wine bar, arcade games, and a family-friendly atmosphere. The kitchen will be led by local pizza veteran Zak Disch, who many locals will recognize from Z’s Pizza. Follow them on Facebook for updates.

8. The Cowboy Store
Expected opening: Summer 2026
Location: Main Street, Boerne
The Cowboy Store, a popular Bandera business, is officially preparing to open its second location on Boerne’s Main Street. The business recently confirmed it is targeting a summer opening and says more announcement dates are coming soon.
The store is moving into the former La Te Da location between the Boerne Chamber of Commerce and Boerne Grill. It will occupy the right side of the building, while CuStumm Design & Tees is opening on the left side.
9. CuStumm Design & Tees
Expected opening: Early Summer 2026
Location: 129 S Main Street
CuStumm Design & Tees has already soft opened its new downtown Boerne location and is now preparing for its full official opening later this summer.

10. Boerne Town Center
Status: Rapidly moving forward
Location: Interstate 10 and Christus Parkway
After months of slow visible progress, Boerne Town Center has suddenly become one of the busiest construction zones in town. Chicken Salad Chick has officially announced a May 20 grand opening, while Chipotle signage is now installed onsite as multiple tenant spaces continue taking shape.
Nothing Bundt Cakes also remains confirmed for the project and will reportedly be owned by Laura Gonzalez, who already operates several San Antonio-area locations. Other businesses connected to the development include Panda Express, Club Pilates, J&S Custom Framing, Van Nails & Spa, and more.
At this point, Boerne Town Center is beginning to transition from “future project” into a real active retail center.
11. Highview Veterinary Hospital
Expected opening: Fall 2026
Location: One Seven Business Park near Home Depot
A new family-owned veterinary hospital called Highview Veterinary Hospital is currently under construction inside the One Seven Business Park off Coughran Road behind Home Depot.
The practice is owned by Drs. Mike and Amelia Rauch, who met at Texas A&M before later working together in Texas and abroad in England. The clinic plans to offer full-service veterinary care when it opens next year.
12. Cibolo Vista Storage
Status: Construction underway
Location: I-10 near Ranger Creek Road
If you’ve driven past Ranger Creek Road recently and wondered what all the construction activity is, the answer is Cibolo Vista Storage. The project was approved by Boerne City Council in late 2024 and has recently begun visibly moving forward.
Plans call for a large climate-controlled storage facility totaling more than 89,000 square feet along Interstate 10 West. After sitting quiet for a while, the project finally appears to be gaining momentum.
13. Linen & Dove
Expected opening: July 2026
Location: 1201 South Main Street Suite 107
A new creative consignment boutique called Linen & Dove is officially coming to South Main Street next door to Girl Happy. Owned by Kendall Renee Mahler, the concept allows locals to rent their own “closet” space inside the store and stock it with clothing, vintage finds, handmade goods, and other items they want to sell.
The business will handle all sales and day-to-day operations while vendors keep roughly two-thirds of whatever sells. Interest already appears strong too, with more than 30 closet spaces reportedly already rented ahead of opening. People interested in becoming a “Closet Curator” can now reserve space here.
14. Scooter’s Coffee
Expected opening: Summer 2026 (estimated)
Location: 31500 I-10, next to Bill Miller BBQ
Construction is moving quickly on Boerne’s future Scooter’s Coffee location on the south side of town, and the project appears to be much further along than many expected just a few months ago. The drive-thru coffee shop is being built in the small former parking lot space between Bill Miller BBQ and the nearby gas station along I-10.
The project was first approved by Boerne City Council last fall and will feature a drive-thru-only setup with no indoor seating, space for up to 14 cars, an escape lane, and a walk-up window. The Boerne location is owned by Shaughnessy and Andrew Davis, who also own the Scooter’s Coffee in Kerrville.
During city meetings, ownership said the store would be fully staffed during peak hours to help traffic move efficiently. While there’s still no official opening date, construction has been humming along quickly, and based on the pace of work, it would not be surprising to see it open sometime this summer. A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation previously listed June 2, 2026 as the target completion date.
