New Playground Installed at Boerne Library Thanks to Anonymous Donation

There’s a new thing to do in town for families with children – and it’s free! Today, a brand new playground was installed at the Patrick Heath Public Library here in Boerne.

Back in January of this year, the city announced that the Patrick Heath Public Library had received an anonymous donation in the amount of $48,000 to build a new children’s playscape.

The donation was made in honor of Matthew Gabourie, who loved taking his child to local playgrounds and understood the importance of being outside playing and enjoying nature.

The playground is located behind the library in the yard next to the amphitheater. It’s not officially open, but should be soon.

We’re excited to take our kids to the new playground!
