Gain hands-on experience in identifying and managing invasive plant species at Herff Farm on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 9 am to 11:30 am. This interactive workshop provides a deep dive into the challenges of four-season invasive plants and their impact on the Texas Hill Country ecosystem.

Through classroom instruction, fieldwork, and discussion, participants will learn effective strategies for removing and controlling invasive species while restoring native landscapes. This workshop is ideal for landowners, conservationists, gardeners, students, and anyone passionate about ecological restoration.

The group will meet at the Herff House Campfire at 33 Herff Rd, Boerne, TX. Participants are encouraged to bring a hat, work gloves, water, snacks, seasonally appropriate clothing, and a notebook.
