6. Halloween at Pinchy’s Lobster & Raw Bar (Oct. 31)
Pinchy’s is keeping things lighthearted with free meals for kids (yes, they’re technically invited) and $5 margaritas for the adults (couldn’t skip $5 margaritas in our list, right? Come in costume, grab a candy bag, and make it a laid-back Halloween evening on River Road.
7. HalloWINE After Dark at DeVino Cellars (Oct. 31)
DeVino Cellars is hosting an evening of costumes, karaoke, and wine-fueled fun from 6 to 10 pm. There’s a costume contest with prizes for Best Couple/Group, Most Creative, and Scariest — plus light bites and plenty of laughter. Admission is free, and the party lasts “until the spirits say so.”
8. Dakota Avenue (Trio) at Brantley’s Bistro (Oct. 31)
If your idea of a perfect Halloween is more live music and less fake blood, Brantley’s Bistro is the move. Dakota Avenue (Trio) performs from 7:30 to 10:30 pm, pairing great food, good company, and festive tunes downtown.
9. A Nightmare at Dobbs (Oct. 31)
Salvador Dobbs goes full spooky with live music from the Ralyn Gayle Band starting at 9 pm and late into the night. Costumes are encouraged (and might just win you a prize), and the cocktails will be flowing all night long. Free entry, 21+.
10. Halloween Costume Contest at The Fair Oaks Roost (Oct. 31)
The Roost’s annual costume contest is serious business, and so are the prizes. The top costume takes home $500, with more for second, third, and best couple’s costume. DJ Taco keeps the party going from 9 pm to midnight, and the late-night kitchen stays open.
Whether your ideal Halloween involves music, cocktails, or cash prizes for the best costume, there’s plenty of grown-up fun to go around in Boerne this year. So dig out your costume, call your sitter, and get ready to celebrate spooky season — adult-style.
