3-Day Watercolor Workshop with Richie Vios at The AgriCultural Museum and Arts Center

An immersive art experience takes place during the 3-Day Watercolor Workshop with Richie Vios from April 28 through April 30, 2026 from 9 am to 4 pm each day at The AgriCultural Museum and Arts Center, 102 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006.
Led by award-winning plein air artist Richie Vios, this workshop offers a deep dive into watercolor techniques through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on outdoor painting sessions. Known for his expressive brushwork and approachable teaching style, Richie helps participants build confidence while simplifying the watercolor process.
Students will learn his signature “Watercolor Clock” method, focusing on water control, timing, and composition to create dynamic, expressive pieces. Over the three days, participants will work on landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes while developing skills in capturing light, movement, and atmosphere.
Designed for intermediate to advanced artists, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to learn from one of Texas’s most respected watercolor instructors.
