Boerne’s German heritage and musical traditions take center stage during Abendkonzerte at Main Plaza. Hosted by Boerne Parks and Recreation, this free outdoor concert series features performances by the historic Boerne Village Band, founded in 1860 by German immigrant Karl Dienger and recognized as the oldest continuously active German band outside of Germany.

Concerts will take place on June 2, June 16, June 30, and July 28 from 7:30 pm to 9 pm. Guests can enjoy evenings filled with traditional German music, storytelling, and local history in the relaxed outdoor setting of Main Plaza. The four-part series celebrates Boerne’s cultural roots while offering a family-friendly community gathering in the heart of downtown.
