Art AfterHours – Embossed Thermal Plastic at Hill Country Council for the Arts

Art AfterHours – Embossed Thermal Plastic explores the creative possibilities of heat-reactive thermal plastics to construct decorative and wearable art. Participants will work with stamps to create texture while adding color using Lumiere mica paints and alcohol markers. As the material is heated and shaped, the design takes on dimension and durability, resulting in a finished piece that can be transformed into jewelry, ornaments, or mixed media elements.
This workshop will take place on October 6 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Hill Country Council for the Arts, located at 102 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006. Admission is $35 and includes instruction and materials. The class is suitable for all skill levels and offers an engaging introduction to a versatile and contemporary art material.
