Art AfterHours – Macrame Weaving introduces a hybrid approach that blends traditional weaving techniques with classic macramé knotting. Using a support piece and warp yarns, participants will build a textured design through a series of decorative knots, exploring pattern, balance, and structure. The finished work may remain mounted on its support or be adapted into a flexible textile element suitable for projects such as a pillow, purse, or other creative applications.

This workshop will take place on October 13 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Hill Country Council for the Arts, located at 102 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006. Admission is $35 and includes instruction and materials. The class is open to all skill levels and is ideal for those interested in fiber arts and contemporary textile design.
