Art AfterHours – Powder Coating introduces participants to the process of applying powdered pigment to metal and curing it with heat to create durable, colorful finishes. This hands-on workshop explores the full process, beginning with fabricating a metal blank from copper and moving through powder coat application, curing, and finishing. Participants will complete a wearable piece by adding jewelry findings, resulting in a finished accessory designed to complement a variety of styles.

The class will take place on May 12 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Hill Country Council for the Arts, located at 102 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006. The cost to attend is $35 and includes guided instruction and materials needed to complete the project.
