Art AfterHours – Stained Glass offers a two-part workshop that introduces participants to the timeless art of stained glass design and fabrication. This immersive class explores working with richly colored glass tinted with metallic salts, guiding participants through the full process of creating an original stained glass piece. The experience is well suited for both beginners and those with prior art experience, providing a balance of technical instruction and creative expression.

The workshop takes place over two mornings on May 19 and May 26 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Hill Country Council for the Arts, located at 102 City Park Rd., Boerne, TX 78006. During the first session, participants will select a design and learn safe glass-cutting techniques. The second session focuses on copper foiling, soldering, and finishing details to complete the stained glass artwork.

The cost for the two-part series is $70 and includes all materials needed to complete the project. This class offers a rare opportunity to explore a luminous art form while creating a finished piece to take home.
