We all know that bees pollinate flowers, but did you know that many moths visit flowers, too – and that there are nearly 5,000 species statewide? Join the Cibolo Nature Center for a sure-to-be fun 2025 Texas Pollinator Bioblitz mothing event.

Start begin around the campfire with s’mores, then venture down to Cibolo Creek to discover what moths are being attracted to blacklights with special guest TPWD Biologist Craig Hensley.

You’ll come to appreciate the diversity of night flying insects that pollinate and provide food for bats and other predators. You will even listen for bats and call for Barred Owls. Before the Mothing Walk, there will be a s’mores bar to ensure you’re all energized for the journey.

$10 per person or $30 per family
