Explore the opportunity to volunteer with the Nature Box program at this free informational workshop and training session on January 24, 2025, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Cibolo Nature Center Auditorium, located at 140 City Park Rd, Boerne, TX.

The workshop is designed for individuals interested in leading or assisting with nature-based activities for elementary students as part of the Cibolo Nature Center’s outreach program. No prior expertise is required, and all materials will be provided.

Topics covered in the session include bird nests, plants and pollinators, fast changes in Earth’s surface, and the reasons for seasons. The curriculum aligns with the updated TEKS standards, making this a great opportunity to get involved in environmental education.

The schedule includes sign-in and refreshments at 8:30 am, followed by the workshop from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. This is a great way to make a difference while learning about nature education.
