Nature Makers offers a family-friendly outdoor learning experience on June 13 from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Herff Farm in Boerne, TX.

Held monthly in the Teaching Garden following Patrick Heath Public Library’s Storytime in the Herff House, this interactive program encourages families to connect with nature through hands-on activities and movement-based learning. Each session features a seasonal educational lesson designed for children and families to explore the natural world together.

The featured activity, “Make A Splash,” invites kids to create their own rain gauges using recycled materials before participating in an interactive game exploring the water cycle through movement and play.

This recurring program is part of the Herff Farm Farmers Market experience and is designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and outdoor exploration.
