Local history and true crime take center stage during the Second Saturday Author Signing at Patrick Heath Public Library. Visitors are invited to meet authors Kathryn Adam-Hurst and Richard Tomlinson as they discuss and sign copies of their book Murder in Boerne, Texas.

The event will take place on June 13 from 11 am to 1 pm. The book, subtitled The Untold Story of the Bickel Family Massacre, revisits the 1868 murder of the John Bickel family in Boerne through newly uncovered court records and historical documents. Published in 2025, the nonfiction work reexamines long-standing local legends surrounding the case and offers a fresh historical perspective on the tragedy.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase during the event, and both authors will be available for signings and conversation with attendees.
