Nature Makers is a family-friendly monthly program that encourages creativity and outdoor exploration through hands-on activities. The program will take place on April 11 from 11:30 am to 1 pm in the Teaching Garden at Herff Farm, following the Patrick Heath Public Library’s Storytime held in the Herff House.

Each session features a seasonal educational lesson paired with a fun, movement-based activity designed to help families connect with nature in an engaging way. Set alongside the Herff Farm Farmers Market, the program offers a lively atmosphere where participants can learn, play, and enjoy the surrounding gardens.

Nature Makers is held every second Saturday of the month and is open to families looking for an interactive and educational outdoor experience.
