Meet local author Sally Sunflower during the Second Saturday Author Signing on Saturday, July 11, from 11 am to 1 pm at Patrick Heath Public Library.

Sunflower is the author of Chickee Chicken, a children’s picture book that follows a spirited young chicken who learns valuable lessons about kindness, empathy, behavior, and how attitudes affect others. Through engaging storytelling and colorful illustrations, the book encourages children ages 4–10 to explore important character-building themes in a fun and accessible way.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the author, learn more about her work, and purchase signed copies of her books. Sally Sunflower will be available throughout the event to visit with readers and personalize book purchases.
