Join the Comfort Heritage Foundation as they host their “Why Old Places Matter” tour where you will visit beautiful places that reflect the cultural significance of a most well-preserved historic district in Comfort, Texas.
Inspired by the book, “Why Old Places Matter” by Thompson M. Mayes, this tour offers a rich, engaging experience that connects you to the legacy of the founders who made history here in Comfort. This is a self-paced, walkable and drivable tour of historic architecture, detailed craftsmanship and the stories left behind.
Ticket purchases available for $35 (plus fees) each on our website and available day of the event at the Heritage Archives Building. Tickets are non-refundable.
