Joshua Creek Ranch is bringing back the JCR Texas Driven Series for 2026, offering classic driven pheasant and mallard shoots set against the scenic backdrop of the Texas Hill Country. The open-line format makes these hunts accessible for individuals and small groups looking to experience traditional driven shooting without booking a private event.
The 2026 season includes nine dates and eleven total shoots, running through April, with a mix of standard and high-volume experiences. Shoots are held at 9 am and 2 pm, with a gourmet lunch served at 12:30 pm and field receptions following afternoon high-volume shoots.
The season kicked off on January 1 with a New Year’s Day Standard Mallard shoot, followed by a high-volume pheasant shoot on January 24. A special Sunday Standard Mallard shoot is scheduled for February 1, and Valentine’s Day (February 14) features a full-day special event with a morning high-volume mallard shoot and an afternoon high-volume pheasant shoot.
Spring brings additional opportunities, including Standard Pheasant on March 7, Standard Mallard on March 14, and an EXTRA High-Volume Pheasant shoot on March 28. The season wraps up with Standard Pheasant on April 11, followed by the End-of-Season event on April 18, featuring a morning high-volume pheasant shoot and an afternoon standard mallard shoot.
Guests who book both the morning and afternoon shoots on the same day receive a $50 per gun discount. Pricing listed reflects non-member rates; Joshua Creek Ranch members receive discounted pricing. Ammo, gun rentals, and a 15% service fee are not included.
