It’s not Labor Day Weekend in Boerne without the Kendall County Fair. For 120 years, this iconic Hill Country event has been bringing the community together with a mix of small-town tradition, big-time entertainment, and all the fair food you can eat.
From the Saturday morning parade to nightly rodeos and a packed three-day schedule of contests, shopping, music, and livestock shows, the Kendall County Fair is one of the largest and most beloved events in the area.

Event Overview
The 120th Annual Kendall County Fair runs Friday, September 4 through Sunday, Sept 6, 2026 at the Kendall County Fairgrounds in Boerne, TX. The fair is hosted by the Kendall County Fair Association and supports agricultural education, rural development, and local tradition.
Gate Admission:
$20 per person, per day
Kids 10 and under are FREE
Parking: $5 per vehicle (cash only)

The fun kicks off Friday evening as the gates open and the stage lights come on.

Saturday is the biggest day of the fair, starting with the beloved Kendall County Fair Parade. The parade begins promptly at 10 am on Main Street in downtown Boerne. But you can expect the roads to close down around 9 am, so plan accordingly.
Pro Tip: It’s not uncommon for people to leave their chairs out starting the night before. So we recommend getting out early and snagging a spot in the shade.
