Starting as a food truck in 2013 and later opening a brick and mortar location in 2017, Z’s Wood Fired Pizza is one of the most beloved pizza places in Boerne, TX. Located in an old house off Old San Antonio Rd, Z’s provides some of the best pizza in town, with a quaint, pub-like feel inside and a beautiful patio area in the backyard.

The Boerne community was saddened when Z’s announced they’d be closing up shop in September of 2024. However, the good news is they sold the location to a new owner, who reportedly plans to continue running it and keeping things much the same.
