Looking to cool off? The Boerne Municipal Pool at City Park is open for the 2026 season from May 23, 2026, and remain open through August 2, 2026, and it’s one of the best ways to beat the heat in town.

Platinum Pediatrics is led by Dr. Mark Rodkey, a board-certified physician in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine with over 30 years of experience. They’re home to the only board-certified Pediatric Emergency Physician in Boerne!

That means when your child spikes a fever at 9:30 pm and you are wondering if it is ER-worthy, you have another option.

Their direct care membership model gives families in-office, phone, text, and telemedicine access, encouraging a proactive approach instead of reactive care.

The pool is inside City Park at 106 City Park Rd, just east of downtown Boerne.

2026 Summer Pool Hours

  • Monday is closed
  • Tuesday – Friday 1 pm – 6 pm, 6 pm – 7 pm Adult Swim
  • Saturday – Sunday 12 pm – 7 pm

(Hours may shift during the summer depending on staffing.)

How Much Does the Boerne Municipal Pool Cost?

During summer open swim time, the Boerne Pool charges $4 per resident, and $5 per non-resident.

Swim Lessons

Boerne Parks & Recreation offers summer swim lessons for all ages through certified instructors. Lessons are divided by skill level, with five class types to choose from.

  1. Parent & Child
  2. Foundation Beginners
  3. Intermediate Beginners
  4. Advanced Beginners
  5. Stroke Readiness

Cost is $60/participant for residents and $75/participant for non-residents.

Class size is limited to 7 participants per class time. All sessions are two weeks (8 days total) and meet Tuesday through Friday. Each class is 30 minutes.

Lap Swim & Year-Round Use

While public swimming is limited to the summer season, the pool stays active year-round thanks to Boerne Elite, the city’s partner for aquatics programs. They offer:

  • Adult lap swim (heated pool in winter)
  • Stroke clinics for improving technique
  • A competitive swim team for youth and adults

Can You Host a Birthday Party at Boerne Pool?

There are two options for hosting parties at Boerne Pool. First, you can host a party during open public hours for $125. You can also host a private evening pool party for $350-625, depending on the size of the party and whether or not you’re a Boerne resident. This price includes lifeguards.
