Tall tales and creative storytelling take center stage during the Annual Kendall County Liars Contest at Patrick Heath Public Library on Saturday, July 18, at 2 pm. Held in the Library’s Community Room, this family-friendly tradition brings together storytellers from across Texas as they compete for the title of “Best Liar in Kendall County.”

Guests can enjoy an afternoon of entertaining stories, quick wit, and plenty of laughter as contestants showcase their storytelling talents before a live audience. This year’s event will be emceed by James R. Dennis, a poet, mystery author, and preacher known for his engaging stage presence.
