A new shop called Girl Happy is set to open a storefront at 1201 S Main St in Boerne in early February, bringing gifts, paper goods, custom items, and creative classes to the area.
The shop is owned by Michelle Edge, who previously owned Dang Sassy on Main before stepping away in 2022 to focus on her family during a challenging time. Now, she’s returning to retail with a fresh concept and a thoughtfully curated space designed to serve a wide range of customers.

In a recent Facebook post announcing the new location, Michelle shared her excitement about returning to retail, writing:
Girl Happy will offer paper goods, Bible covers and accessories, Christian gifts, monogramming and embroidery, custom printed tees, and printed styrofoam cups. There will also be spirit wear and homecoming items.
Michelle also shared that she is intentionally curating collections meant to appeal to a wide range of customers.
In addition to retail, the shop plans to host mahjong classes and DIY workshops once it is fully up and running.
Misty Stout of Boerne Mahjong confirmed she will be teaching classes at the new location and shared her enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying she is excited to team up with another local business and that Michelle “does a great job at creating excitement around trending products.”
An exact opening date has not been announced yet, as the business is waiting on final product arrivals, but Girl Happy is expected to open in early February.
