Your First Week
If you’ve never been to a Boerne High or Champion home game, here’s what to actually expect: get there early enough to watch the teams take the field, catch the band at halftime, find the mascot, and make the always-important trip to the concession stand before the line gets long.
The stadium fills up fast for rivalry and homecoming games, so if you want a good seat without the scramble, aim to arrive early before kickoff.

If You Can Only Make One Game
Every home game is worth going to, but if your fall is busy and you have to pick one, make it homecoming. You get everything a regular Friday night has, plus a parade earlier in the week, a packed stadium, and a little more electricity in the air than a normal week.
Of course, there’s also the first home game, as well as playoffs (which both Boerne and Champion are expected to make).

For alumni, current students, and anyone who just enjoys a good hometown tradition, homecoming week is Boerne football at its best.
Geneva School of Boerne Eagles
Boerne football isn’t just BISD. The Geneva School of Boerne Eagles are also back on the field this fall, having already played their first game on August 21st. Because Geneva’s schedule mixes home and away games throughout the season, the easiest way to stay current is through Geneva’s varsity football page directly.
