As 2026 gets underway, Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club is entering the new year in a very different place than it started the last one.
Throughout 2025, the club underwent one of the most extensive renovation periods in its history — a year defined by construction, patience, and steady progress across nearly every corner of the property. Now, with most major projects complete, the focus is shifting from building to experience.
A Year of Construction and Upgrades
Renovation work began in mid-February 2025 with improvements to the Golf Center and Clubhouse. While some amenities temporarily relocated during construction, operations continued and several spaces evolved into unexpected favorites along the way.
The pool complex was refreshed with resurfacing, new plumbing, and all-new pool furniture, giving the area a cleaner, more modern feel heading into the warmer months.
On the course, Live Oak saw major bunker renovations. Bunkers were removed, repositioned, and reshaped to better fit today’s game, with improved visibility, cleaner edge definition, and upgraded drainage. New bunker liners were installed and filled with Premier Play sand, matching what golfers already enjoy on the Blackjack course.
Racquet Sports, Fitness, and Social Spaces Take Shape
One of the most active areas of the club in 2025 was the racquet facility. Tennis courts were resurfaced, new pickleball courts were added, and upgraded LED lighting transformed the area into a social hub for members throughout the day and into the evening.
The Forge fitness center also opened, bringing new wellness amenities to the club. Outfitted with Technogym equipment, along with a sauna, cold plunge, and massage chairs, the space expanded options for training, recovery, and everyday fitness.
Another notable transformation came with The Oak Pit, a reimagined bar space that quickly became a popular gathering spot after rounds, matches, and workouts.
A Reimagined Clubhouse Experience
The centerpiece of the renovation effort was the Clubhouse itself. Designed to preserve the property’s ranch heritage while introducing modern comfort, the refreshed space now features Saddle & Stone for warm, inviting dining and The Barrel Room for more elevated meals, date nights, and special events.
The updates were built around creating spaces that feel comfortable, functional, and welcoming, while still honoring the character that longtime members associate with Fair Oaks Ranch.
New Faces and Fresh Momentum
Alongside physical upgrades, Fair Oaks Ranch also expanded and strengthened its leadership team in 2025, bringing in new roles across club management, golf operations, food and beverage, and culinary leadership. Those additions helped support the transition year and set the stage for what comes next.
Looking Ahead to 2026
With construction largely in the rearview mirror, 2026 marks a shift in focus. The year ahead is centered on refining operations, elevating service, and bringing the newly upgraded spaces fully to life.
Programming will continue to play a key role, with a mix of family-friendly activities, social events, and opportunities for members to connect across the club. After a year of transformation, Fair Oaks Ranch enters 2026 focused less on what’s being built, and more on how it’s experienced.
