If you’ve been wondering what’s happening with the pizza project tied to 28 Songs and the founder of Z’s Pizza, here’s the latest.

After months of waiting, construction is now officially moving forward. The team has broken concrete, passed key inspections, and is actively making progress inside the space at 110 Market Ave.

While an exact opening date isn’t locked in yet, the current target is March of this year, with things continuing to move along behind the scenes. The focus right now is on build-out and dialing in the menu, with more details to come as things take shape.

“We’re excited to be working on the menu,” owner Don Kretz told us. “I think people are going to be really pleased with the final product. So more to follow soon.”

This upcoming pizza parlor, Carmella’s Pizza Parlor, will bring a family-friendly, nostalgic vibe to North Main, complete with pizza, a small beer and wine bar, and an arcade area… a fun new addition to the north side of town.
