Random Beer Garden Is Coming Back

After closing during Covid and briefly reopening in 2024 before shutting down again that summer, Random Beer Garden is starting to show signs of life once more.

Over the past week, we spotted posts on NextDoor hinting at a “super soft opening,” with a follow-up post this past weekend saying they were open.

We reached out via email to the owner, who shared that they are working toward a full reopening, but don’t have an official grand opening date yet.

“We are working on opening! We have an event this Saturday… As far as opening, we don’t have a solid date. Hopefully in the next few weeks. Working on staffing and a few other things.” the owner said.

In the meantime, Random will host a special event this Saturday, May 3 — the Shared Beat Annual Crawfish & Music Event — featuring Derby Day festivities, a crawfish boil by Firehouse Fare, Derby-themed appetizers, craft beer and wine, and live music from powerhouse band Velvet (playing 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm).

There will even be a hat decorating station for those who want to get into the Derby Day spirit. Tickets must be purchased in advance — no sales at the door — and proceeds will support Shared Beat’s Student Wellness and Health Career Scholarship Programs.

Event Details:
Saturday, May 3, 2025
4:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Random Beer Garden, 11 Upper Cibolo Creek Road, Boerne, TX

Tickets & More Info: See event page here

We’ll keep you posted as soon as an official reopening date for Random is announced. In the meantime, this weekend offers a good chance to check out the space, enjoy some crawfish and live music, and support a great cause!
